Parish Clubs and Activities
FRIARY TENNIS CLUB
There are two good courts and clubhouse idyllically situated in the friary gardens.
We charge a small subscription fee to cover maintenance and other costs, and membership is open to anybody.

The club has been at its current location through the Friary gardens for about 50 years, and before that it was on part of the current Trinity Lower School site.
We are part family-oriented church social activity, and part serious tennis club, and are open to anybody.
We set great store by friendliness, good sportsmanship and hospitality, and want to be a good advert for our Parish community.
FTC is self-funding, with subscription rates deliberately set as low as possible so that we are as accessible as possible.
The clubhouse is being improved and has toilet and changing facilities, chairs, tables and a kitchen area.
We run two 6-man teams in the South West Essex league, and would welcome more juniors and women players.
