Celebration of marriage

In his encyclical The Joy of Love Pope Francis instructed us that we should provide help to those approaching marriage so that they are fully aware of all the advantages and resources our catholic practice provides. Not all know or appreciate what we do regularly offer in SToC. But the Pope also instructed that we continue this support particularly in the months and years just after marriage, but throughout. Accordingly Bishop Alan invites all to a celebration mass and reception each year. Just to celebrate your marriage and family, to be affirmed in what you are doing and to know you are not alone. The invitation is for July 15th. I have invitation cards if you would like to take part at Brentwood this year. We were represented at last year’s annual mass and I hear good reports of it.
