The Parish Pastoral Council

The Tablet article saw this as the key. Ours is strong. For several years all important decisions involving all aspects of community building, finance, building maintenance, education, pastoral care, civic duties, evangelisation, reduction of poverty have been made not by us priests but by the Council. The Council has taken initiatives in all these areas, then carried them through. For that reason the Parish AGM on July 9th is an important event. We must ensure continuity of so many good things in the major changes that lie ahead.
